a bit (more) about brogues

I did it. I went to New Look and bought a pair of budget brown brogues. Yeah, they look cheap, and ideally I'd be wearing Moschino brogues, or even a sturdy Russell and Bromley tan pair, but they do the job. And they're comfy too. I got some ribbon involved, and voila! I actually like them quite a bit.
