I love a good meadow as much as the next person, but I think it's gone beyond that now. Our garden has officially achieved jungle status! Have been meaning to tame the lawn for weeks, and Allie finally beat me to it today. Still, the sun was out and I've finished classes for the summer so I wanted to get out there. Yes it was that time, that longed for day - to plant the tomatoes and geraniums.
I've been wanting to get more green fingered for a while now, and inspired by Teacup Adventure and the lovely Girl Who Married a Bear, I decided to go for it; make use of my seed stash, and throw off the novice attitude.
Yes, that is indeed a pink trowel. You dig? Oh dear. |
and I made some new friends - little hipsters in their on trends polka dots! |
Just being outdoors was great, and I can't wait for little green shoots!
Anyone else got things on the grow?
Good work Boliver.
ReplyDeleteI have a few herbs waiting to sprout and keep putting off planting the Alpine strawberry seeds I've been hoarding. It's so exciting to watch things grow!
