baby shoes and a bit of news

Made you look! 

No, we're not expecting. I made these cuties for an awesome fellow crocheter who's just had a beautiful baby girl. Man, what is it about tiny things? So cute. I used an in-your-face pink DK and a pattern from Simply Crochet issue 3. Have you made a pair of these? Mine came out a little different from the pictures in the mag and one is a teensy bit bigger than the other. I think my htr2togs may have been a bit off! 

Anyway, I've popped in to share this project and also to introduce a new blog series that will be coming your way soon! I Couldn't Make Without... will be exploring what inspires and motivates makers and crafters. I'm also keen to share some more DIY/budget wedding ideas this year, too. Watch this space.
